HTI 'Go4it'
Go4it is the leading national awards scheme in the UK for schools, colleges, children’s centres and nurseries that can demonstrate creativity, innovation and adventure for learning with a positive attitude towards risk.
Empowering teachers to be more innovative, expanding horizons, and improving students’ soft skills, behaviours and attitudes, Go4it gets a school buzzing with excitement as motivation levels rise. It is excellent in involving the local community, enabling them to share the schools’ activities and successes.
Go4it is unique in that it provides a single over-arching award, which recognises all the disparate areas of excellent practice undertaken by both staff and students, and it can also help meet many Ofsted requirements. Students will gain important life skills that will make them more employable and fit for a competitive and increasingly global market place.
‘Being involved with Go4it has made a big difference. I am the most excited I have been for a very long time. It is simply the best award any school could have.’
Julie Duckworth, Headteacher, Ledbury Primary School
‘Go4it is about the bigger picture and that’s what our country lacks. Employers are saying young people don’t have the worth ethic and lack imagination and Go4it encourages all of that.’
Jonathan Weeden, Deputy Head of Carter’s Primary School
'I think every school should "Go 4 It". It's a powerful, liberating journey that permeates the whole school and has real impact.'
Debbie Mitchell, Head Teacher, Clifton-upon-Teme School
