CapeUK

CapeUK is an independent not for profit organisation committed to improving the lives of children and young people – preparing them to face the future with creativity and self-belief. They work with schools, youth and community organisations, universities, the cultural and creative sector and other agencies which share their aims.

From April 2012 CapeUK will become an Arts Council England Bridge Organisation, working with the arts and cultural sectors in the Yorkshire region, ensuring that children and young people have access to great arts experiences.

CapeUK work with you to realise and release creative potential, designing, planning and delivering creative interventions to transform learning and teaching - solutions that work for your school, with your children and in your local community.

No two schools are the same. So CapeUK tailor their approach to your school, your staff, your pupils – starting from your starting point.

CapeUK has a strong, confident and highly experienced team – based in Yorkshire and the North West, with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. They work regionally, nationally and internationally with hand-picked associates, communities of successful and innovative schools willing to share their expertise and a network of expert university researchers feeding the most recent findings on creativity and learning into practice.

Over the last 12 years CapeUK has partnered with over 5,000 schools across the country and thousands of school leaders and staff. They have formed and led school networks and worked with other providers to support creativity and learning. CapeUK has also played a key role in advising government on creativity and learning and led national and regional creative partnership programmes.

Cost

Effective development needs to be part of a process rather than a one off experience. That’s why CapeUK recommend programmes that integrate planning reflection, review over a period of time, with opportunities for applying the knowledge and reflection between sessions. The final costs will be worked out when designing your own bespoke programme, for example; smaller schools may want to collaborate with another school for cost effectiveness and impact. Feel free to call the team to discuss which solutions would work for your setting on: 0845 450 3700 or email consult@capeuk.org

As a not for profit organisation, all CapeUK's work focuses on benefit for children and young people.
