Who?
Student Coaching is an education consultancy working in partnership with educators, parents and employers to provide world-class transformational teaching and learning solutions. They pride themselves on their relationships with over 40 schools and colleges nationwide. Together they work to provide a whole, rounded education for each learner which empowers them to achieve their best.
 
What?
Student Coaching Ltd’s Learning for Life paradigm has five principles at its heart:

Their ‘solutions’ target a range of needs; from primary to Further Education as well as training and curriculum development to sustain the improvement process.
 
How?
Tutorial resources - 15 minutes in duration, which explicitly teach the TRIC skills and SMSC topics. With 400+ sessions they offer 5 years of materials
 
Learning for Life lessons - one hour long, providing content which explores issues linked to PSHE, Citizenship, Careers, Enterprise and Work Related Learning
 
‘Discovery Days’ - resources for those collapsed curriculum events where learning is project driven, underpinned by TRICS of course, on a range of topics
 
Suitcase - delivers a more adult-centred learning experience for post 16 contexts and highlights pathway progression, life skills, ethical/moral situations
 
Language for Learning - tutorial resources aimed mainly at KS2 learners, which introduce TRICS as a learning/ thinking device and useful for students with learning difficulties in the secondary phase
 
Topic of the Week - available weekly, current affairs are simplified and bring the outside world into school, using TRICS. They can be used as assemblies and tutorial sessions.
