Games and Learning
Games can be a powerful educational tool for young people, engaging them in their learning whilst simultaneously teaching them how to operate and interact with new technologies. Already, computer games can be used to improve children’s literacy and numeracy. Beyond this, they have the potential to teach young people new skills surrounding games design, engineering and information technology. From idea conception to planning, software design to computer programming, computer games can be used as a powerful learning tool.
