We must work together to help young people succeed.

ASDAN is pleased to support Whole Education, as we have long operated on the principle that co-operation counts. The wide range of experience within the partnership makes this collaboration an opportunity to share, learn and disseminate effective practice.

The initiative offers an opportunity to grapple with the important issue of how we can best equip learners for the future, with the appropriate skills, knowledge and competencies. It is key that we do this in order that young people can develop the personal resources they require to live and work in an increasingly complex world. Enabling them to meet these challenges will not only have a positive impact on them personally, but also on the families and wider communities of which they are part.

ASDAN offers a variety of resources and curriculum materials which properly recognise wider achievements, through the development and accreditation of the skills of independent enquiry, active learning, enterprise, critical reflection and leadership. In this way young people’s educational and employment prospects are significantly enhanced.

We see Whole Education as an opportunity to combine and extend the expertise of our partners and practitioners, and in doing so, further strengthen the offer we are making to young people today.
