The Children's Manifesto
I have been following 'The School I'd Like' campaign from The Guardian for some time.
In 2001 The Guardian launched a competition to find out what children felt would make the perfect school. Again in 2011 they spoke with young people to find out their views and as a consequence launched The Children's Manifesto.
So what type of school would children like? My highlights include; more time outside-with fortnightly school trips, more opportunities for children to be listened to by teachers and that every student should have an iPad!
The above video comes from Hendon School and includes students explaining why their school is an ideal school.
