Our 12th Annual Conference will now be taking place on Zoom between 4-6pm on 20th January, 27th January, 3rd February and 10th February. Each of the 2 hour sessions will consist of an expert keynote, comfort break and a panel discussion with members of our Network Leadership Group.
The final session will be taking place on 10th February 2022:
“Authentic, values based and pragmatic leadership” with Marva Rollins OBE
Building on and following all previous conference inputs, Marva will shift the focus to us as leaders and the need to be authentic leaders if we are to effectively lead your school’s journey over time.
Starting with her own experiences as a leader, she will share with her where her inner drive came from as a leader and how she used this to help lead her school and communities evolution with purpose over time.
She will help us all to reflect on and find where our own inner drive comes from as a leader to improve lives and how we can more effectively ignite and harness that to be a kind and supportive leader that develops every member of staff to support every student.
Again, based on her experience, she will help us to think ‘have we done the best we can for every child’ as our key driver, including looking beyond students to engaging and supporting families and carers.
Her input will be followed by a panel discussion with acting WE school leaders who will explore how to be a pragmatic values based leader and confidently stay true to your values, with the spectre of OFSTED re-emerging.
