Taking place: Alternating Wednesdays, 11am
During this challenging time, it is more important than ever to be part of a network; to have the space to talk to colleagues, hear what they are doing and share ideas.
Our WE Primary peer support network virtual meetings are designed to support you during this challenging time. They are an opportunity to learn with and from colleagues across the country during this fast-moving situation. They are based around schools sharing what they are doing that others might benefit from, and what they’re challenged by and would like others to feedback on.
Ainslie Wood Primary School
The leaders at Ainslie Wood Primary School will share their approach to leadership development through relationship building.
“At Ainslie Wood, we provide intentional support for the development of Leadership qualities and skills. We believe that good school leaders combine good knowledge and organisational skills with good people skills. Our work on developing relationships has strengthened our team through genuine self reflection and open communication.
In this session, we will share with you the journey we have taken to understand and develop Trust – both evaluating our trust in others and being considered trustworthy. We will show you how this, somewhat abstract concept, can be broken down into easily recognisable elements and show practical ways to evaluate them to help further develop the trust in your team.”
WE Network Support for you
After the success of our WE Primary network suppoorting meetings last year, WE are continuing to host Zoom calls fortnightly, at 11am on Wednesdays for you to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and hear what others are doing to respond to common challenges.
Each week’s meeting will include an input and then opportunity for discussions/questions and a general catch up
To help schools collaborate and share ideas during this extraordinary time, all these virtual meetings available to all primary schools.
