Our WE Inspire Secondary network virtual meetings are designed to both support and inspire you as you move through the school year. They are an opportunity to learn with and from colleagues across the country as schools share what they are doing that others might benefit from, and what they’re challenged by and would like others to feedback on. They are an excellent place to talk to like-minded people.
These events run monthly on Thursday, 2-3pm, and are hosted by Shonogh Pilgrim, Director of Secondary at WE.

Placing relationships and restoration at the heart
We will be joined by the inspirational Rachel Tomlinson (@BarrowfordHead) as we think about how a school can place relationships at the heart of everything they do. We will move on to consider how a school might use restorative principles when things go wrong so that repair and resolution become the focus of our behaviour systems instead of punishment and retribution. While Rachel leads a primary school, the fundamentals of the approach will provide inspiration and challenge to all phases.
