On Thursday 19th September, Shenley Brook End School will host the first meeting of our 2019/20 ‘Leading a Whole Education’ community.
With challenge and support from experienced curriculum thinker David Crossley, delegates will consider how the intended taught and learnt curriculum are delivered coherently and represent the vision and ethos of their schools.
Participants will be introduced to the 3 priority areas for 19/20 and spend time considering which meets the needs of their school’s curriculum.
- An excellent KS3 curriculum for outstanding KS4 results
- Providing a high-quality vocational-education offer
- Words for all – reducing the vocab gap
Each priority area will include opportunities for professional development and leadership mentoring during the school year.
Delegates will also have an opportunity to learn more about Whole Education’s core offer and how they can sponsor and support their colleagues taking part in other WE programmes. They will be a particular focus on how to maximise the impact of their colleagues taking part in WE Lab Classrooms to benefit learners in their schools.
