Powerful teaching and learning master classes: a moment for empowerment, creativity and success
This is a moment when powerful teaching and learning really matter… and powerful teachers and learners really matter.
Therefore, we need to abandon the deficit language of ‘catch up’ and ‘recovery’ and embrace the language of power, creativity and success for our students and teachers. Now, if ever, is our moment to really make a difference for our young people!
This is a series of 3 masterclasses hosted by Ruth Powley. Ruth will explore power, creativity and success in teaching, learning and learners in autumn 2020. Each will be based on practical strategies for immediate adoption in the ‘classroom’ (real or virtual) reinforced by research and follow-up reading on the pedagogy underlying the strategies. Each will also be linked to ideas for effective spend of Catch Up Premium Fund.
This is a moment to unleash the potential of our learners and teachers.
Session 3: Powerful learners
