A dedicated space for teachers and leaders to take time out and explore issues surrounding mental health and wellbeing.
About the Whole Education MHWB series
WE began the Mental Health and Wellbeing series in November 2020, as an opportunity for leaders to explore and discuss how these important issues are relevant within their schools.
Hosted by Hannah Wilson, one of our Associate Directors and Co-Founder of #WomenEd and #DiversityEd, sessions take place fortnightly and are free and open to all. Events will alternate between a webinar format where you’ll hear from experts in the field of mental health and wellbeing, or a forum style where you’ll have space to step back and discuss the issues with other colleagues.
We’ll explore how you’re developing best practice within your school or trust, give you access to inspiring and informative keynote speakers and provide a space to ask for support or share tips and guidance.
We hope you can join us!
What can I expect?
Since the start of the series, we’ve welcomed some fantastic speakers and hosted some brilliant discussions. You can find all of the topics for our upcoming events above but topics we’ve covered in the past include:
- Teacher ‘5 a day’ with Bukky Yusuf
- Supporting parents with Lucinda Powell
- Workload and wellbeing with Kat Howard
- MHWB leadership with Clare Erasmus
You can find the top five takeaways from previous MHWB sessions in this blog from Hannah.
