We’re very excited for our 9th Annual Conference, taking place February 26th 2019 in Central London.
The conference theme is preparing young people for their futures (you can read more about why we think is so important in a previous blog) and tickets are almost sold out. You can book yours (£295 for WE members, £395 for non members) at this link.[scribd id=397524675 key=key-PqAZ9H49IJuciDvBggTn mode=scroll]
Whole Education Network conferences aim to offer a mixture of inspiration, challenge, ideas and practical tips to make a difference right away. This year is no different, featuring:
- A keynote from our first ever Nobel Prize winning speaker, Professor Venki Ramakrishnan President of the Royal Society, on the importance of a broad and balanced curriculum
- An opening panel featuring Alex Beard, Alex Quigley, Sam Twiselton and Jenny Williams giving a range of perspectives on preparing young people for their futures
- Extended exploratory sessions looking at how we about we can design and implement a ‘whole education’ across three key strands – curriculum, teaching & learning and building your teams. Each will expose you to key debates in the area while featuring top tips to take away
- A range of practical, hands on breakouts with genuine national experts in their fields – on teacher coaching, on metacognition, on the neuroscience of learning, and many more!
We have sold about 70% of the tickets for the conference, so move fast to avoid missing out. Tickets are £295 for Network members, and £395 for all other guests.
