Learning Group: Reading Fluency with Kiran Satti

The next session for the Reading Fluency Learning Group will take place on 14th March.

We are delighted to be joined by Kiran Satti, Senior Assistant Principal of Wallbrook Primary Academy and Literacy Lead Practitioner at Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust.

Kiran believes that ‘learning to read is like being the caterpillar in the chrysalis – a messy metamorphosis…until the point when your wings are ready and you can fly.’ Convinced that we can work more collaboratively across the stages of a child’s reading fluency journey, Kiran will explore what that could involve. This session will examine concept, theory, practice and impact and will be beneficial to all colleagues, regardless of Key Stage so grab a drink and join us!

Learning Groups are open to members of the Whole Education network. If you are not a member, but would like to attend, please contact us.
