Learning Group: Behaviour and relationships with Mike Armiger

The next session for the Behaviour and relationships Learning Group will take place on 2nd May.

We are delighted to be joined by Mike Armiger, an educator, trainer, speaker, rugby coach, and is passionate about mental health, due to what he calls his own ‘lived experiences’.

Mike will be talking broadly about the issue of SEMH in schools focussing on wellbeing, motivation and how we can best understand the challenges faced. In advance of the session we would love to hear from you. What are the most difficult challenges that you face as a leader supporting students experiencing Mental Health difficulties? To what degree do you use Trauma Informed Practice and what are the successes and barriers to better provision in this area? What are the big questions e.g. how do we engage students who tell us to leave them alone?

Your questions and thoughts will frame the session, so please let us know any responses to the questions above or any related questions so that Mike can share a bespoke session with us.

Learning Groups are open to members of the Whole Education network and can be signed up to via our Digital Network. If you are not a member, but would like to attend, please contact us.
